surfadmin - a Unix administration script

Surfadmin was born of a need. I wrote it when one of the owners of surferz accidentally changed the root password of our mail/radius server when adding a new user. As the years went by surfadmin accreted many new functions beyond the simple adduser/deluser functions. Surferz now has around 2000 users which are administered mainly through surfadmin. The script is available under the BSD License.
If you are starting an ISP, you might want to look at Freeside , an OpenSourced ISP Billing package released under the GNU Public License. Freeside handles both the basic system administration and billing of users which saves a lot of work for an ISP. Freeside is rather difficult to set up, but commercial support is available.
